Can AI find Ojeda Works yet?

As of Oct 20, 2026: 0 of 4 checks named Ojeda Works. Since Sep 7, 2026: 0 of 10.

When a customer asks AI who to call and it doesn't say your name, that call goes to someone else. When we write a report for a business, we ask AI about them and show what it said. We run that same check on ourselves, and we post the result here even when it's bad. Right now it's bad. Here's every check, what came up instead, and what we're doing about it.

Every check so far

"Named" means Ojeda Works, The AO Audit, aoaudit.com or ojedaworks.com showed up in the answer. We describe what came up instead in general terms. We don't name other businesses here.

If you Google our name yourself, you may well find this site. These checks don't use Google, and Google is a separate test we haven't added yet.

Add it up: 10 checks on three dates, 0 named us. We added the fourth question, a plain search for our own name, on Oct 20. That's why the latest date has 4 checks and the earlier ones have 3.

Source: our own check log, one row per check, kept since September 7, 2026.

Why it's zero

Partly, we're new. The Ojeda Works name was about six weeks old on Oct 13. The AO Audit is older than the Ojeda Works name, and AI hasn't named it either. My take: AI tools name businesses they've seen talked about in places they trust, and nobody has had much time to talk about us yet.

The last check is the one that stings. Our AI tool searched our own name plus our town and didn't find us. My take: if a search can't find a business by its own name, it's even less likely to suggest that business when someone asks who to call.

What we're changing, and why

Google says its local results are mainly based on three things: how well a business matches the search (relevance), how far away it is (distance), and how well known it is (Google's page calls this popularity and prominence). It also says more reviews and good ratings can help (Google's own page on local ranking). That's Google's guide for its own local results, not for AI tools. My take: AI tools that search the web lean on the same public signals, so that's where we're starting. We don't have proof of that yet. In this order:

  1. Publish our own original reports. Done, and ongoing. We checked 257 local businesses and published the totals (our website study, the public dataset). My take: original data gives people a reason to mention us. Whether anyone does is not something we control.
  2. A Google Business Profile under the Ojeda Works name. Plan, not started. That's the listing Google uses for local results.
  3. The same name, address and details on every listing. Plan. My take: when directories disagree about who you are, a machine has a harder time trusting any of them.
  4. Reviews from real customers. Plan. We'll ask customers to say what we did and where, in their own words. We won't write reviews for anyone.

None of this is a promise that AI will name us next month. Nobody can promise that, and anyone who does is guessing. What we can promise is that this page will show what happens either way.

How we check, and what this can't tell you

  • The questions. We ask the questions in the table above about once a month. They're the kind a customer might ask, plus one search for our own name, which we added on Oct 20 with an extra check that week.
  • The tools. One check asks Claude, an AI model, what it already knows about us, with no web search and no notes from us. Claude's built-in knowledge stops at the date its training data ends, so that row can't say Yes until a newer model learns about us. We keep it to see when that happens. The others are web searches run by an AI tool, not searches we typed into Google. We have not run ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google's AI answers for this log, so we don't claim anything about them.
  • Answers change. The same question can get a different answer depending on who asks, when, and from where. Each row is one snapshot on one day.
  • It's not a ranking. "No" means we weren't in that answer that day. It doesn't measure calls, visits or sales.

Re-checked monthly. The next check is scheduled around November 7, 2026, and the new rows go in the table above when it runs.

Fair question: why trust someone AI can't find yet?

Because we don't sell certainty. Nobody can make AI name you. What we can do is show you what's missing on your site, fix what can be fixed, and let you watch us try it on ourselves right here.

Where does your business stand?

The free scan on aoaudit.com checks whether AI tools can read your website. That's one piece of whether they can name you, not the whole thing. You don't need to talk to anyone.
